The future is paid for healthcare
MyDocPay with our Complete Pay solution helps patients who have ongoing health needs such as:
Chronic Health Conditions
Chronic Pain
Mental Health
Disability
Access their GP, Allied Health, and some out-of-hospital Specialists for FREE or if the provider is not a MyDocPay provider at a significantly reduced out-of-pocket cost. This is regardless of the Doctor or provider’s bulk billing policy.
How does it work?
MyDocPay pays upfront for your Medicare-funded services with participating GPs and healthcare providers, so you won’t be left with any out-of-pocket expenses.
Under the Health Insurance Act 1973 (Cth), the Medicare benefit is payable to the person who incurs the medical expense—which, in this case, is us. The benefit is legally assigned to you, the patient, and once received from Medicare, is deposited into your MDP Wallet, where it is held on trust for you.
You can then use the balance in your Wallet to repay MyDocPay for the healthcare services we funded on your behalf.

The Problem We’re Solving
Medicare was designed to support access to affordable healthcare. But in reality, it’s falling short—especially for the patients who need it most.
When a doctor sees a patient, they either charge a fee (with a Medicare rebate going back to the patient) or bulk bill the service. Even with the recent increase to the bulk billing incentive, the rebate still doesn’t cover the true cost of providing care for most GPs. As a result, many practices are being forced to reduce bulk billing—or stop it entirely.
Unfortunately, the people most affected by this shift are those with chronic or complex health needs. These patients often require frequent GP visits, ongoing management, and access to Allied Health and Specialist services. But rising costs are placing this essential care out of reach.
MyDocPay exists to change that.
We use a unique payment flow model that leverages the Medicare rebate to cover upfront costs, making paid healthcare services more accessible—without burdening patients with large out-of-pocket fees.
This means:
More choice in which GP or practice you see
Faster access to care—including Allied Health and Specialists
No delay in getting the help you need due to upfront costs
We're removing financial barriers so patients can focus on getting better—not worrying about how to pay for it.
